Now, I know that some people fancy a mirror in their bedroom. Maybe beside their bed, maybe even on the sealing above their bed.
But, trust me, they most certainly don't belong there.
Wonder how I come up with something like that?!
Well, I think I forgot to mention that there is a closet in my room. A big closet, right beside my bed. And I actually think that i forgot to mention that the thing is covered with fucking mirrors. All over. And I do not like it at all.
First of all, I don't like to see myself first thing in the morning after I finally found my glasses. There are other times of a day where I look a lot better.
And then, it startles me. Every time I turn around with my eyes not closed, I kind of jump because I'm not used to seeing someone beside me in bed (OK, that does not sound right. Of course I'm used to seeing some handsome Prince Charming next to me, but not here in Canada. Although there are a lot of good looking fellows around.)
It didn't help yesterday night either. Yeah, that was sort of funny. I actually thought that I know my way around this house at night by now (Well, when I think of it now, I often stumble over those bloody stairs right in front of my room. In fact, I do it every time the light is out.). So yesterday, when I went to sleep, I didn't turn on the little light to help myself out. No, I just put out the big light and went towards my bed. Then, suddenly, I felt like letting myself fall into those wonderful soft and oh-so-perfect pillows and blankets and etc. So I flung myself in the air, spread my arms and -yeah- crashed right on to the floor. Ouch. It really did hurt (especially because I bumped the side of my head on that fucking mirror), but it also was quite amusing. So I just lay there a time, laughing my head of. Sexy, ey?
Well, next thing I know when I'm finally in bed, is that my blanket is just not right. There something wrong with it. So I wanted to stand up on my bed and shake it a little around until everything is in place again. Sounded like a plan back then. I just kind of forgot the lamp hanging over my bed. Well, I remembered well when my head bonked right in to it. I love life.
After that, I went to sleep pretty fast.
It's the first rainy day since whe came here and naturally I've ran out of books. I read all the books I brought, I read all the books my twin brought, I read all the books my mom brought and I even read the books my little 12-year old sister brought. And all the money I've spend on this trip so far was for- duh?! Books.
But then I got lucky and found one belonging to my mother, she just had forgotten about it. Yippie! Happy Sasi. It keeps me laughing out loud. And I have to write down the first paragraph of it, because it is just so fitting for this blog:
The way I see it, life is a jelly
doughnut. You don't really know what it's about until you bite into it. And then, just when you decide it's good, you drope a big glob of jelly on your best T-shirt.
